Remote education information for parents and carers
A new web page has been set up by Solihull Local Authority, to provide information to parents about remote education in Solihull and to signpost them to other areas of support.
We have added the link above and hope that this will complement all of the information, and work, we have done in school to help and support our families.
The frequently-asked questions section explains what the DfE defines parents can expect as 'a reasonable remote learning offer' (you can view the GF offer here) and explains, in detail, what remote learning actually is, can look like and clarifies, for those families expecting live streamed lessons all day, why this is not necessarily the 'gold standard'/best solution for effective teaching and learning (particularly with Primary age children).
