Meet the Nursery Team
These are the staff working in Nursery. Mrs Bromhall is the class teacher, ably assisted by Mrs Porter, with Mrs Mallin teaching on a Thursday morning every week. |

Life in Nursery
(In development)
We are incredibly proud to have our own Nursery unit at George Fentham, from 9am to 12.00pm.
Children start Nursery from the September after their 3rd birthday and from this point on they receive a rich, wide-ranging curriculum offering opportunities for both academic and social development.
As the first year group in school, our Nursery children begin their journey in our designated EYFS unit. This means that whilst they learn, play and develop in their own Nursery block, they also have direct access to our Reception classroom through an adjoining bifold door. This provides wonderful opportunities for our EYFS cohort to mix together.
During their time in Nursery, children have access to their own outdoor playground, containing a climbing frame, sensory garden and allotment, covered play area with numerous outdoor activities and sheds full of balance bikes and outdoor equipment. Supervised at all times, children are actively encouraged to spend time outdoors (whatever the weather).
With two desktop computers, an interactive screen and access to numerous tablets/laptops, children have regular usage of technology to both support and augment their learning and play.
