Curriculum Intent
"Our Science curriculum is rooted in the key foundational knowledge, and sequence of concepts, that are essential to understanding the scientific world around us. Curiosity and engagement is fostered through putting science into real life contexts, encouraging pupils to develop their own scientific questions before having the opportunity to explore and investigate through meaningful practical activities. They are encouraged to articulate their scientific ideas and concepts clearly and precisely, to avoid misconceptions. Throughout the curriculum, children develop the key skills of scientific enquiry and investigation through comparative and fair testing and development of scientific vocabulary."
