Curriculum Intent
"Our curriculum teaches pupils to understand and explore how music is created, allowing them to perform, listen to and respond to a variety of musical styles and develop knowledge of music across a range of historical periods. The children develop an understanding of the interrelated dimensions of music: pitch, duration, dynamics, tempo, timbre, texture, structure and appropriate musical notation. Our curriculum ensures that all children learn to sing and use their voices and have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument."
