Curriculum Intent

"Our Art & Design curriculum provides our children with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. Underpinning the curriculum are our sketchbooks, in which our children explore their ideas and record their experiences and experiment with a variety of artistic techniques. These books are also used to capture evaluation and analysis of creative works. Through our curriculum, children will gain the knowledge of how art is an expression of cultural identity, of a people or a moment in time."
